Where Flavor, Vinyl & Community Collide in downtown vegas

ECHO is a harmonious blend of flavor, music, and connection, rooted in the passions of Chef Natalie Young and entrepreneur Tom McAllister. Chef Nat’s love for nourishing food, soulful vinyl, and unforgettable ambiance meets Tom’s dedication to building a downtown Las Vegas bar and listening lounge where community thrives.

Born from a shared vision, ECHO has become a go-to gathering place in the Las Vegas Arts District, where locals and visitors alike savor refined yet approachable cuisine alongside expertly crafted cocktails. Set to a backdrop of curated vinyl records and a world-class McIntosh sound system, our space is both sophisticated and inviting—designed for good vibes, deep grooves, and meaningful moments.

ECHO reflects its founders’ commitment to the Las Vegas community, celebrating creatives from artists to artisans and welcoming everyone—from locals seeking the best bars in downtown Las Vegas to visitors discovering the heartbeat of the city. More than just a cocktail bar in the Arts District, ECHO is a place to belong, where every meal, sip, and song tells a story.

  • Chef Natalie Young

Visionary Chef and Creative Force Behind ECHO – Taste and Sound

The heart of ECHO is its chef and creative mastermind, Natalie Young.

Chef Nat has been a culinary professional for over 30 years. She blends technical expertise with an unrelenting passion for food, music, and community. Her journey has taken her through some of the most demanding and celebrated kitchens in the country, where she has worked alongside renowned chefs such as Mark Miller (Coyote Café) and John Joho (Eiffel Tower).

Known for her signature style—both in the kitchen and out—Chef Nat combines bold creativity with meticulous attention to detail. But don’t be fooled by her wild hair, tattoos, and laid-back demeanor; she is ALL BIZ in the kitchen, where excellence is the standard.

At ECHO – Taste and Sound, located in the heart of Las Vegas’s Arts District, Chef Nat takes her talents to new heights, blending her love for food with her lifelong passion for music. Inspired by the ritual and intentionality of vinyl records, Chef Nat’s vision for ECHO is deeply personal: a space where taste and sound converge to create unforgettable experiences. Her menu reflects her eclectic, comfort-driven culinary style, offering approachable, elevated dishes that look like fine dining but taste like home.

ECHO is more than a restaurant; it’s a space for connection and community. From blues and fried chicken to high tea, from jazz nights to caviar and champagne pairings, her innovative approach creates a space where everyone feels welcome—young, old, locals, and visitors alike.

For Chef Nat, ECHO is not just a project—it’s the culmination of 30 years of passion, creativity, and a deep desire to give back. Whether through her bold flavors, carefully curated ambiance, or the soulful sounds filling the air, ECHO reflects her heart and her belief in the power of breaking bread to bring people together.

What’s in a name?

The name ECHO was chosen with intention, highlighting the idea that what you send into the universe returns, often amplified.

At ECHO, these principal shapes everything we do. From the music we select to the food and cocktails we craft, we work to create ripples of positivity that resonate far beyond our space.

We believe an echo is more than a sound; it’s a reverberation that carries energy, in life and in business. Striving to send out positivity—through exceptional service and community support—believing it will return to us and those we serve. This philosophy guides us in sourcing fresh, local ingredients and supporting emerging artists.

ECHO is a space where good things happen because good intentions are at its core.
